Key responsibilities

• Provide expertise in safety chemical process engineering for all departments on site

• Ensure proper implementation on site of Huntsman Process Safety Management Program

• Carry out design studies (process safety) and participate in all stages of feasibility and execution of projects resulting from these studies

Requested profile

• Master degree in engineering (Process engineering, chemical engineering) or equivalent
• Proven experience in some (the more, the best) of the following specialized fields

> chairman leading Process Hazards Analysis (HAZOP, HAZID, LOPA, Risk Matrix analysis

> SIL Target Assessment Leader; hazard scenario studies, reliability analysis

> Process Safety Incident Investigation

> EHS /PSM Criticality Assessment: IPLs, definition of maintenance strategy for critical equipment (Mechanical Integrity)

> Safety Instrument Function (SIF)/ Safety Integrity Level (SIL)

• Design and maintenance of Safety Instrumented Functions
• Quantification of probabilities of failure on demand (PFD avg)
• Determination of redundancies required to match SIL target

> Design and calculation notes

• Pressure Relief Safety Valve sizing (PSV Sizing)
• Design Verification

> Facility Siting Assessment and Area Classification Assessment (ATEX)

• Results oriented
• Good communication skills
• Excellent organizational competences: at ease in managing various activities in parallel
• Team player; used to work in cross-functional teams
• Fluent French and English

The incumbent will be entrusted with short assignments on other sites of the division in collaboration with the Process Safety Center of Excellence
