Manager Information Services - R&D

My client is an innovating, dynamic and growing international pharmaceutical company currently expan ding their team in Switzerland, Vaud Canton.

 

Responsibilities :

 

 

• Ensure that corporate project methodology, tools and best practices are applied for all projects under your scope;
  
• Ensure that relevant governance bodies are in place for each project;
  
• Supervise project planning, monitor project plans and resources;
  
• Liaise with Infrastructure, Operations & Services to ensure integration of infrastructure and applications layers;
  
• Ensure project closure with handover to people in charge of maintenance and operations;
  

• Establish business partnership with user representatives to align our service level and activities with business expectations;
  
• Lead the Support and Continuous Improvement activities (incidents, service requests & change requests) in his/her domain of responsibility in accordance with the rules defined by IT Governance department & appropriate QMS;
  
• Set up and lead Change Advisory Boards (CABs) for major applications / domains to manage business requests;
  
• Build relation with Technical teams in charge of maintaining/supervising the platforms;
  
• Monitor maintenance and support activities and publish KPIs;
  
• Act as Change Expert and Change Manager according to the definition in the change management SOP;
  
• Supervise the life cycle of applications within the Business Unit portfolio and ensures the rationalization of the existing platform;
  

 

 

Education and qualifications:  

• University Degree, Master level in IT or equivalent;
  
• Minimum 10 Years in IT organization with experience working for life sciences companies;
  
• Experience of managing / supervising several project managers;
  
• Experience in consulting management or in internal resources management in the area of applications delivery. Extensive management experience within health science R&D (ELN, CTMS, eTMF, Chromatography, Data Management….);
