YOUR TASKS

As a Full Stack Developer with leadership skills, you will take over the management and further development of our IT landscape and carry strategic as well as operational responsibility for the IT processes:

• Professional and personnel leadership of the IT team: You will lead a small, interdisciplinary team and act as the interface to external developers. You coordinate tasks, promote collaboration, and support the development of your team members. You implement your IT strategy in line with the overall business strategy.
• Active participation in software development: You are hands-on in software development – actively writing code, particularly for our core solution mobility.online. You take technical ownership of the platform’s architecture, ensure high code quality and drive its scalability.
• Support in the development of our in-house AI solutions: Together with our Data Scientist, you will work on the development of our AI components. You contribute your technical understanding of machine learning and software integration and support the operationalization of AI models.
• Further development of our software solutions: You will help shape the technological advancement of our existing products and new digital solutions – from concept to deployment. Your role also includes aligning development efforts with the product roadmap and making sure customer requirements are effectively implemented.
• Ensure IT security and compliance with data protection regulations: You ensure that our systems and applications are operated securely and stably. At the same time, you make sure that legal requirements (e.g.,GDPR) are implemented in software development, operations, and the handling of sensitive data.

WHAT YOU BRING

• You have a background in computer science or software development, ideally with further training in IT management or a degree in (business) informatics.
• Experience in technical leadership or as a lead developer, ideally in an SME or agile, small-team environment and/or willingness to take on a leadership role in the future.
• Team orientation and strong communication skills– you enjoy working with different roles (electrical engineering, data science, executive management) and foster a constructive team culture.
• You bring solid expertise in software development for frontend and backend (with a focus on Python – ideally complemented by knowledge of C++) as well as in AI modeling.
• Extensive knowledge in the development of web-based software solutions working with IoT-sensors – from user interface to data-processing logic (incl. Azure cloud solutions).
• Knowledge of IT security and data protection, particularly in the secure development and operation of web-based platforms (e.g.,GDPR compliance).
• You speak fluent English. If you also speak German– even better!
