This internship is part of an academic training program, a professional training program, or a socio-professional integration program, and must comply with the conditions set by the Employment Market Supervisory Council (CSME). The duration of the internship, as defined by the tripartite agreement, is 6 to 12 months at 100%

The MSF movement is built around 5 operational centers supported by 23 sections and offices worldwide. MSF Operational Centre Geneva (MSF OCG) is one of these centers. The operations are implemented by around 40 field teams, 20 mission coordination teams and organizational units based in Africa, Middle East, Asia and Central America. The field operations are guided and supported by 4 Operational Desks, the Emergency Desk and other departments supporting operations, including the Medical Department and Information Systems.

The Information Systems Department includes the Data, Innovation and Projects (DIP) unit that focuses on data excellence through analytics, innovative technologies and project management to inform strategic decisions and improve healthcare delivery. The DIP unit is recruiting a Data Architect Intern who will contribute to the transformation and integration of MSF's data platform, focusing on HR and budget systems, medallion architecture, and data governance components.

• Support system integration for HR and budget systems.

• Assist in implementing medallion architecture for improved data quality and accessibility.

• Participate in data integration projects and deploy Master Data Management (MDM) tools.

• Develop data governance policies and recommend modern platform components.

• Research and evaluate modern data components.

• Have a tripartite internship agreement

• English and French: good writing and communication skills

• BSc in Computer Science, Data Engineering or a relevant field with an understanding of data principles

• Being enrolled in a master's program in those fields is a plus

• Previous experience in data architecture or related projects is beneficial but not required

• Knowledge in Software, Tools: Workday, Power BI, MS Dynamics, MS Fabric, Microsoft Azure, Data cataloguing, Metadata management, API management

• Programming: SQL, python, Git

• Curiosity and willingness to learn, Attention to detail, Analytical thinking, Team and collaboration skills, Accountability, Flexibility, Ethical awareness, Taking initiative

• A tripartite internship agreement is mandatory

• 6 months

• Full time (40h/week)

• Based in Geneva, Switzerland

• Start date : July 2025

• Gross monthly remuneration 2'000.- CHF
