As the premier supplier to our client, a leading commodities company based in Switzerland, Swisslinx is looking for a highly motivated individual to take on a challenging role as a IT Consultant who has a strong background in Business Analyst and Project Management. In this role you will be working closely with 45 terminals in Switzerland and other countries in Europe. You will take reasonability for strategic IT projects as well as day to day operations and support the teams with solutions.

• Project management of IT initiatives in the field of terminal automation and industrial automation (e.g. SCADA, TAS)
• Analysing business requirements and identifying technological solutions to increase efficiency in the terminals
• Coordination of interdisciplinary project teams from IT, operations and external partners - nationally and internationally
• Interface function between operational employees, IT departments and management level
•  Planning and managing resources, schedules and budgets
• Processing support requests, including ticket management and monitoring recurring IT processes (ITSM)
• Ensuring system availability and security in collaboration with infrastructure and service teams

Your profile

•  Completed studies (Bachelor or Master) in computer science, business informatics or comparable qualification
• 10 years of experience in IT consulting - ideally in logistics, terminal or industrial environments
• Sound knowledge of Terminal Automation Systems (TAS) and/or SCADA
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure, networks and common project methods (e.g. ITIL, Agile, DevOps)
•  Fluent language skills in German, English (mandatory) and very good French
