    Job description:

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Ensure stable applications/services, incident and problem management, and application lifecycle for Financial Information Services (Financial Information Sheet (FIS)), including Bloomberg, LSEG, Reuters, MarketMap, and FIS Global
    • Service Operations: Manage the day-to-day operations of the IT service, ensuring it is delivered in accordance with agreed SLAs and OLAs
    • Continuous Improvement: Monitor and analyse the IT service, identify areas for enhancement, and implement changes to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and quality
    • Business analysis, solution design, development, testing, and implementation of fixes (Run-the-Bank - RtB) and changes (Change-the-Bank - CtB), coordinated with the vendor or software provider
    Requirements:

    YOUR PROFILE

    • Degree or equivalent qualification in Information Technology or a related field
    • 3+ years' experience as a Senior IT Service Owner or Application Responsible
    • Solid understanding of IT governance, budgeting, resource planning, and risk management at a strategic level
    • Experience conducting or approving analysis and design prior to development
    • Lead or actively contribute to development, testing, and deployment activities in line with standards and best practices
    • Hands-on experience in installing and configuring hardware and software
    • Advocate for and support agile methodologies and tools
    • Proficient in Unix and Windows Server environments, including application support
    • Knowledge of database technologies such as PostgreSQL and Microsoft SQL ServeR
    • Strong analytical and organisational skills
    • Independent worker with a high sense of ownership and accountability
    • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
    • Effective negotiation skills across diverse stakeholder groups
    • Fluent in English; German is a plus
