Senior Linux Systems Engineer

The Role:

As a Senior Linux Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, automation and growth of our Linux-based infrastructure. You will work closely with the entire team to build out tools and systems to support a global network of users and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop the future of the systems infrastructure in the office
• Manage and maintain enterprise-grade Linux Systems
• Build automation tools to simplify deployment and growth of the infrastructure
• Monitor, troubleshoot and optimize system performance and reliability
• Lead system infrastructure projects and global deployments
• Provide user support for infrastructure services

Your Profile

Must-haves:

• 5+ years of experience as a Linux Systems Engineer or similar role
• Strong independent work ethic, and ability to solve problems with little oversight
• Ability to prioritize workloads and set realistic delivery expectations
• Deep understanding of Linux internals, networking and system architecture
• Strong scripting skills (Bash, python etc.)
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools
• Experience with virtualization (KVM, Proxmox), containers (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
• Experience with an automation platform (Ansible, Terraform, Puppet)
• Experience with OpenID based Single Sign On Solutions (such as Zitadel, or Keycloak)
• Security focused design (Best practices & attention to detail)
• Experience hosting services on premise
• Fluent in English (spoken and written)

Nice-to-haves:

• Experience with satellite technologies and tooling
• Networking experience (to include routing, switch management etc)
• Cloud Experience (AWS, Azure and/or GCP)
• Other languages (as a global company, languages more than German/French are key to our success )
• Experience with Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) infrastructure
