About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join a high-profile global transformation program within Commercial Insurance.

You will be part of a strategic initiative to design and build multiple line-of-business models that enable underwriters to assess and price policies on an end-to-end underwriting platform.

Working closely with senior business stakeholders, solution architects, and developers, you will analyse, define, and translate business requirements into high-quality functional IT specifications within a complex global delivery environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Understand business objectives, processes, and product specifics to ensure alignment with strategic priorities
  • Conduct requirements elicitation workshops with SMEs and end users
  • Analyse and document as-is and to-be processes
  • Translate business requirements into detailed functional IT specifications
  • Create functional solution concepts and contribute to solution design discussions
  • Collaborate in cross-functional BA / Architect / Developer workshops
  • Own assigned topics end-to-end (scope, dependencies, timelines, quality, testing)
  • Support testing phases, change management, and training activities
  • Contribute to backlog management and planning activities
  • Support post-implementation documentation and production support
Required Experience & Skills
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Business Analyst within global transformation programs
  • Strong experience in Agile delivery environments
  • Proven ability to capture complex business requirements and translate them into functional IT specifications
  • Experience working in complex, multi-vendor and multicultural environments
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • High ownership, proactivity, and delivery mindset
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Business Information Systems, or related field
  • Strong English language skills (written and spoken)
Preferred Experience
  • Insurance industry experience (Commercial Insurance highly advantageous)
  • German language skills are a plus
