What you will do
- You work directly with the business to determine and analyze requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- You design, develop, and maintain microservices with Java and Spring Boot. You develop and manage robust and scalable RESTful APIs
- You deploy applications in the cloud to make them scalable and reliable, using Docker and Kubernetes
- You manage data efficiently with SQL and NoSQL databases as well as blob storage
- You ensure code quality through reviews, tests, adherence to best practices, and architectural guidelines
What you bring
- Degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, and several years of experience in software development with a focus on microservices architecture
- Solid knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, cloud platforms (especially Azure App Services), container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), and database systems (SQL, NoSQL)
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and requirements management, including gathering and analyzing business requirements and translating them into technical specifications
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent interpersonal skills for direct interaction with stakeholders
- Fluent in English, good knowledge of German is an advantage
