Job Description- Tender & Pre‑Order Planning: Responsible for technical and cost calculations during tender phases, including risk assessment, rough planning, market‑based cost estimation, budgeting, and preparation of erection concepts, site layouts, schedules, crane concepts, logistics, personnel deployment, and construction documentation required for bidding.
- Post‑Order Erection & Execution Planning: Develop and optimise detailed erection plans, execution sequences, schedules, lifting plans, site infrastructure, equipment usage, and construction site organisation, ensuring compliance with HSE, quality, time, and cost targets.
- Technical Coordination & Constructability: Coordinate delivery and performance limits with project management, engineering, and external partners; conduct constructability reviews; request external planning services when required; and ensure all erection‑relevant documentation is collected, reviewed, and maintained.
- Subcontracting, IT & Site Support: Prepare technical inquiries and specifications for subcontractors, evaluate offers, participate in negotiations, support erection start calculations, plan and implement site IT infrastructure, and administer construction site management software while supporting site teams in achieving work package objectives.
- Cross‑Project Standards & Continuous Improvement: Maintain and archive erection concepts, key data, guidelines, site regulations, forms, and processes; contribute to work instructions for site execution; actively support continuous improvement initiatives and knowledge standardisation across projects.
Qualifications- Education & Technical Background: Engineering degree (Bachelor/Master) in mechanical, industrial, civil, or structural engineering, with strong experience in preparing technical documentation such as erection concepts, schedules, site reports, installation adaptations, and HSE documents.
- Erection & Industrial Plant Experience: 10+ years leading erection campaigns for boiler pressure parts, incineration grates, steel structures, and complex industrial plants (power, waste incineration, petrochemical), with strong exposure to erection supervision and planning; mechanical piping experience highly valued.
- Contract, Subcontractor & Safety Expertise: Proven coordination of construction and installation contracts, subcontractor management, and erection execution; SMSTS/IOSH and SCC (or equivalent) certifications desirable.
- Leadership, Structure & Problem Solving: Assertive and communicative professional with a confident presence in international negotiations; analytical and highly structured working style; strong organisational, negotiation, and result‑oriented mindset; capable of independently handling complex tasks with practical, solution‑focused thinking.
- Languages, IT & Mobility: Business‑fluent German and confident English (additional languages an advantage), proficient in MS Office, PDF tools, and MS Project, with high willingness to travel for project‑related site preparation, coordination, and execution support.
