The position encompasses:
- Being a first line responder for information security events and requests
Supporting the team with operational security tasks, such as legal data retention and exception requests
Developing our knowledge-base and identifying methods to automate and streamline security workloads
Providing technical guidance to a range of IT teams to help them understand and resolve security issues
Coordinating and conducting technical security (penetration) tests, often working with specialist partners
Creating condensed security reports with clear recommendations for IT leaders
and requires experience in:
- Securing Enterprise Microsoft Windows, e.g. access control, security groups, audit-logs, and organisation design
Global networking technologies and network security services, e.g. firewalls, web-proxies, and segmentation
Vulnerability and compliance tools and processes, supporting local teams complete mitigation activities
Technical security testing and remediation, risk evaluations, and change management
Technical dashboard definition and refinement, knowledge management, and automation tools
Creating security guidelines and processes, and making real changes in the organisation

Highly adept in English (speaking, writing, negotiating) with skills in other European languages a plus
We look for candidates with:
- Graduate degree in IT, ideally in information / IT security, with related professional training and qualifications
2-5 years’ experience in an IT department, working on security related tasks and activities
Skilled user of MS productivity tools (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Experience of automation and reporting tools (e.g. Automic, Powershell, PowerBI etc.) will be a plus
Pragmatic, hands-on, with a range of security skills across the technical and policy spectrum
